Kenwood CD Receiver with Bluetooth

The Kenwood KDC-BT282U is a single-DIN CD receiver built for drivers who want physical media playback alongside modern smartphone connectivity. It includes an AM/FM tuner and a 204-segment one-line text display for track and station information. The detachable faceplate adds security when the vehicle is parked. This unit suits anyone upgrading an older factory stereo without changing the dashboard opening.

Ideal for daily drivers who stream music

Built-in Bluetooth handles hands-free calling and audio streaming with dual phone connection so two devices stay paired simultaneously. A front USB port and auxiliary input accept flash drives or portable players loaded with MP3, AAC, WMA, WAV and high-res FLAC files. Wired Apple device control is supported for iPod, iPhone and iPad. Buyers who need a built-in navigation screen, HD Radio decoding or a multi-disc changer should look at other models.

13-band graphic equalizer

The onboard DSP provides a 13-band graphic equalizer, Drive EQ to counter road noise and independent crossovers for front, rear and subwoofer channels. Two-channel preamp outputs allow external amplifiers to be added later. Kenwood's free Remote app lets a smartphone adjust volume, sources and sound settings. This feature set determines whether the receiver matches the listener's tuning expectations.
