Questions about this item

Which Juniper chassis models accept this 1700 W AC power supply?

The unit is compatible with SRX5800, SRX5600 and MX960 routers, matching part numbers DCJ17001-03P, PWR-MX960-AC-S-C and SRX5800-PWR-AC-B.

Can this supply run in the same chassis with older lower-wattage modules?

Juniper platforms typically require matched power supplies; mixing a 1700 W unit with lower-rated modules is not supported and may prevent the system from powering on.
