FSP400-60EVF 1U server power supply

This 400W unit is built for 1U rackmount servers and industrial systems that require an ATX-compatible power source. It suits integrators and IT teams maintaining dense chassis where a compact, high-reliability supply is essential. Buyers needing higher wattage or redundant modules should look elsewhere.

Thermals noise and power draw

The supply delivers up to 400W of continuous power within a 1U form factor designed for forced-air server airflow. Fan speed scales with load to manage thermals in restricted spaces. Acoustic output is typical for high-density server environments rather than quiet workstations. Efficiency meets the 60-grade target for this class.

Questions about this item

How do I install the FSP400-60EVF in a 1U server chassis?

Slide the unit into the 1U bay until the edge connector seats firmly on the backplane, then secure the two retention screws; the step often missed is fully engaging the connector before tightening screws.

What maintenance will the FSP400-60EVF need over its service life?

Periodically clean the intake vents and internal fan with compressed air to prevent dust build-up that can reduce airflow and cause the 400W unit to run hotter.
