Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

The supply is rated for a peak output of 900 watts, indicating headroom for transient loads. No fan specifications or acoustic figures are provided by the supplier, so noise levels under load cannot be stated. Questions about this item

How is the 12V 45A server power supply installed in a 3650M5 M4 chassis, and what step is often missed?

Slide the unit into the hot-swap bay until the latch clicks, then verify the 12V rail delivers 45A under load; the missed step is skipping the latch confirmation.

What maintenance or replacement will the 550W 900W power supply need later?

Clean dust from the intake vents every six months; replace the unit if the 12V output drops below 45A or if the 94Y8110 43X3312 part shows fan failure.
