Modern Standby ATX Power Supply

Builders wanting quiet, efficient sleep support

This unit suits system integrators and enthusiasts who prioritise low-load efficiency and near-silent operation thanks to its Zero RPM fan mode. It is not for buyers who need redundant power modules or server-grade hot-swap functionality.

800 watt Gold-rated output

The single specification that decides fit is the 800W continuous rating combined with 80 PLUS Gold efficiency. Verify that your platform’s total power draw stays within this limit before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Which part number matches my HP workstation — 720479-B21, 723600-201, 754381-001 or 723599-001?

All four numbers are listed as compatible replacements for this 800 W unit, so select the one that appears on your existing power supply label.

What does the 800 W rating deliver in a real build?

It supplies up to 800 watts of continuous power with 80 PLUS Gold efficiency, meaning lower heat and quieter fan behaviour under typical loads.

What ATX standard does this PSU follow and what does that cap?

It uses the standard ATX form factor, so it fits regular ATX cases and provides the usual 24-pin, CPU and PCIe connectors defined by that specification.
