400W ATX Power Supply for Modern Standby Systems

This ATX power supply delivers 400 watts of continuous power and carries 80 PLUS Gold certification for high-efficiency operation. It is built for desktops that use Modern Standby sleep states and benefit from fast wake times. The resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion provides stable voltage regulation across all rails.

Capacity and Headroom for Typical Desktop Loads

The 400W rating comfortably supports mainstream processors and mid-range graphics cards during everyday workloads and gaming sessions. Efficiency remains high across a broad load range, reducing waste heat and keeping fan speeds low. Systems with multiple high-end GPUs, heavy overclocking, or dense storage arrays will exceed the available headroom and require a higher-wattage unit.

Zero RPM Fan Mode and Quiet Operation Features

At low and medium loads the cooling fan stops completely, eliminating mechanical noise during idle or light productivity tasks. The LLC resonant design further reduces coil whine for quieter operation under load. No modular cables, software suite, or RGB lighting accessories are included with this unit.

Questions about this item

Will the 400W ATX unit fit and power my older BTX chassis that uses a BTX-500SE form factor?

The model is built to the BTX-500SE(A) design, so it matches the BTX mounting pattern and connector layout used by that chassis.

How can I confirm the 80 PLUS Gold efficiency and Zero RPM mode are active after installation?

At low and medium loads the fan stays off completely, and the 80 PLUS Gold rating means the unit meets the published efficiency targets for those load levels.

Which cables come attached to the power supply and what must I source separately?

The unit ships with its fixed ATX and peripheral cables; any specialised BTX adapters or extra GPU connectors not already present would need to be purchased separately.
