450 W ATX power supply for standard desktop builds

This unit delivers 450 W of continuous power through a standard ATX form factor. It suits office workstations, home PCs and basic upgrade projects that require a straightforward replacement. The unit has been tested and verified as working before dispatch. It is not intended for systems that demand higher wattage or specialised server-grade connectors.

Thermals noise and power draw in typical operation

The supply runs within normal ATX thermal limits during everyday workloads. Fan speed adjusts to load so acoustic output stays low in typical desktop use. Power draw at the wall reflects the 450 W rating under full load. Builders needing higher headroom or modular cabling should consider a larger unit.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 450W ATX power supply and what step is often missed?

Mount the unit in the ATX cut-out, secure it with four screws, then connect the 20-pin main power cable to the motherboard; the step often missed is plugging in the 4-pin CPU auxiliary connector near the socket.

What maintenance or replacement will this 450W ATX supply need over time?

Clean the intake grill every few months to prevent dust build-up on the internal fan; replace the unit if voltages drift or the fan becomes noisy after extended use.
