ATX Power Supply for GLC50DG

This ATX power supply delivers 5.05 V, 24 V and -12 V rails with a 50 W total rating. It is built specifically for systems using the GLC50DG platform. Each unit is tested before dispatch to confirm correct operation. It suits repair technicians and integrators who need a direct replacement.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

The 50 W design keeps heat output low during typical loads. Fan noise remains modest because the modest power draw does not demand aggressive cooling. Power consumption at the wall will reflect the connected system's actual demand up to the rated limit.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the 5.05V, 24V and -12V rails of this ATX unit to the GLC50DG backplane?

Match each coloured wire to the corresponding voltage pin on the GLC50DG connector; the -12V line is often mis-plugged into a ground pin, so verify the pin-out diagram before powering on.

Which components inside this 50W supply are most likely to need replacement after extended use?

The electrolytic capacitors on the 5.05V and 24V outputs age fastest; plan to recap them if ripple appears on those rails after several years of continuous operation.
