Efficient ATX Power for Modern Standby Systems

This 500 W ATX power supply carries 80 PLUS Gold certification for high efficiency and lower running temperatures. It is designed for PCs that use Modern Standby, delivering extremely fast wake-from-sleep times and improved low-load efficiency. The unit suits builders who want reliable power without excess capacity.

Zero RPM Fan Mode and Resonant LLC Topology

At low and medium loads the cooling fan stops completely, giving near-silent operation during everyday tasks. Resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion supplies clean, consistent power and reduces coil whine. These features also enable more energy-efficient sleep states for the whole system.

Compatibility With Listed Workstation Models

The supply matches the DPS-500EM-00, H240EM-00, L180ES-00, L240AM-00, L240EM-00 and AC240AM-00 part numbers used in 3040, 3050, 5040 and 70403650 chassis. Questions about this item

Will the cooling fan need replacement after years of continuous use?

The fan stops completely at low and medium loads, so bearing wear is reduced and replacement is unlikely during normal service life.

What limits output first when the unit runs at full load for hours?

The 500 W rating is the hard limit; sustained draw above that triggers protection shutdown.

How much noise and heat appear when the supply powers a workstation all day?

Zero RPM mode keeps the fan off at typical loads, giving near-silent operation and cooler temperatures thanks to 80 PLUS Gold efficiency.
