900W ATX unit for Lenovo X3550M4 X3650M4 X3850 X6

This new 900W ATX power supply matches part numbers 7001606-J000, 7001606-J002, 94Y8072, 94Y8073 and 94Y8195. It is built for the X3550M4, X3650M4, X3850 and X6 server platforms. Each unit is tested working before dispatch. It suits administrators replacing a failed or degraded module in those specific chassis.

Straightforward hot-plug replacement

Installation follows the server hot-plug procedure: remove the old module and slide this unit into the same bay until it locks. No cable harness changes are required because the connector layout matches the original design. The only common issue is ordering a unit with a different part number that does not seat correctly in the X3550M4, X3650M4, X3850 or X6 bays.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 900W unit is operating correctly after installing it in an X3550M4?

The supplier tests every unit before dispatch. Once fitted, the server should power on and report normal voltage rails in the management console.

What comes with the 900W power supply and what must be sourced separately?

The power supply itself is included. Server-specific mounting rails and power cables are not part of the package and must be obtained separately.
