Apple Workstation 980W Power Supply

This unit is a 980-watt ATX power supply identified as model DPS-980BB-2 A, originally fitted to Apple Pro workstations with the A1289 designation. It is supplied new and tested working for builders who need a high-output replacement for that specific platform.

Proprietary form factor limits reuse

The mechanical layout and connector pinout follow Apple's proprietary workstation design rather than standard ATX dimensions, so the unit will not fit or connect to ordinary PC cases or motherboards without adapter hardware. Buyers needing a standard ATX supply for a generic build should select a different model.
