250 W ATX Power Supply for Compact Builds

This 250 W ATX unit fits small-form-factor systems that require a single 8-pin connector. It targets builders assembling office PCs, media centres or light-workstation rigs where space and noise matter more than high-wattage headroom.

Modern Standby and Zero RPM Fan Mode

Modern Standby support enables extremely fast wake-from-sleep and better low-load efficiency. The Zero RPM fan mode stops the fan entirely at low and medium loads for near-silent operation during typical desktop use.

80 PLUS Gold Efficiency at 250 W

The 80 PLUS Gold rating confirms high efficiency across the load range, reducing power draw, heat and acoustic output. Builders needing more than 250 W or multiple PCIe connectors should select a higher-capacity unit.

Questions about this item

How often does the 250W unit's fan need cleaning or replacement?

The Zero RPM fan mode keeps the fan off at low and medium loads, so dust build-up and bearing wear are reduced compared to always-spinning designs.

What limit appears first when the 250W supply runs at full load for hours?

The 80 PLUS Gold certification guarantees high efficiency up to the rated 250W, so thermal protection is the first safeguard that can activate under sustained maximum output.

How loud and hot does the 250W PSU get during all-day operation?

Zero RPM mode stops the fan entirely at light loads for near-silent running, while the resonant LLC topology and Gold efficiency keep heat and coil whine low even under continuous use.
