Compatible AT power supply for legacy systems

This 300 W AT-type unit carries the SPI-300G and SD-250AT designations and is tested working before dispatch. It is intended for older PCs that still use the P8 and P9 motherboard connectors rather than modern ATX plugs.

P8 and P9 connectors replace standard ATX headers

The bundled wiring harness provides the two six-pin blocks required by classic AT mainboards, removing the need for adapters. Builders working on vintage hardware can install the unit directly, while anyone with a current ATX board will find the connector layout unsuitable.

Questions about this item

Will the internal fan need periodic cleaning or eventual replacement on the SPI-300G?

The 300 W AT supply uses a standard cooling fan; dust buildup should be cleared every few months and the fan itself typically lasts several years before bearing wear requires a swap.

Which limit appears first when the SD-250AT runs continuously at full load?

The 250 W continuous rating is reached before the 300 W peak, so sustained output is capped at the lower figure and the protection circuit will engage if that level is exceeded.
