650W ATX Power Supply

The KHACHIMO CPRS DPS-650AB-16S is a 650W ATX switching power supply built for modern desktop builds. It carries 80 PLUS Gold certification for high efficiency operation. Modern Standby compatibility enables extremely fast wake-from-sleep times and better low-load efficiency. This unit suits builders who want clean, consistent power delivery.

Resonant LLC with DC-to-DC

Resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion provides clean, consistent power and reduces coil whine for quieter operation. The design enables use of more energy efficient sleep states in supported systems. A Zero RPM fan mode stops the cooling fan entirely at low and medium loads for near-silent operation. Builders needing higher wattage for multi-GPU configurations should look elsewhere.

80 PLUS Gold Efficiency Headroom

The 80 PLUS Gold rating delivers high efficiency operation for lower power consumption, less noise, and cooler temperatures across typical loads. Modern Standby support improves low-load efficiency and wake responsiveness. At 650W this unit comfortably handles mainstream single-GPU systems and standard components. It runs out of headroom for builds demanding sustained loads beyond its rated output.

Questions about this item

How does the 80 PLUS Gold certification affect sustained-load heat and noise?

The 80 PLUS Gold rating means higher efficiency at typical loads, so less waste heat is produced and the fan can run slower or stay off longer, keeping the unit quieter and cooler during all-day use.

What happens to fan noise when the CPRS 650W runs continuously at low or medium load?

Zero RPM Fan Mode stops the fan completely at low and medium loads, giving near-silent operation; the fan only spins up when the load or temperature rises above the internal threshold.

Does the DPS-650AB-16S need any extra cables or adapters to install in a standard ATX case?

It uses the standard ATX form factor, so it fits directly into any ATX-compatible case and connects with the usual motherboard, CPU and peripheral cables included with the unit.
