Compact ATX Power for Efficient Systems

This new 250W ATX power supply is built for compact desktops and low-power workstations that prioritise energy efficiency and quiet operation. It delivers reliable power for modern components while supporting advanced sleep states. The unit suits builders who value low heat output and near-silent performance in small form factors.

Who Benefits and Who Needs More Power

The supply fits office PCs, home-theatre boxes and embedded systems that run modern standby and draw modest loads at idle. Zero RPM fan mode keeps acoustics minimal during light use. Builders planning discrete graphics cards, multiple storage arrays or high-wattage processors should select a higher-capacity unit instead.

80 PLUS Gold Efficiency Defines the Choice

Gold certification confirms high conversion efficiency across typical loads, reducing electricity draw and internal temperatures. Combined with resonant LLC topology and DC-to-DC conversion, it provides clean power with minimal coil noise. This efficiency level is the key spec for deciding if the unit matches your thermal and acoustic targets.

Questions about this item

Will the fan need replacing after years of continuous use?

The Zero RPM Fan Mode keeps the fan off at low and medium loads, reducing wear so the fan should last longer than in units that run constantly.

What limits output first when the unit runs at full load for hours?

The 250 W rating is the hard ceiling; sustained draws above that will trigger over-power protection and shut the supply down.

How loud and hot does it get when powering a workstation all day?

80 PLUS Gold efficiency and the resonant LLC topology keep heat low, while Zero RPM mode silences the fan at typical workloads.
