80 PLUS Gold and Zero RPM mode

The 80 PLUS Gold rating means lower power draw, less heat and reduced fan noise. Zero RPM mode stops the fan completely at low and medium loads for near-silent operation.

Modern Standby support for fast wake

Resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion enables Modern Standby compatibility, giving extremely fast wake-from-sleep times and better low-load efficiency. Buyers needing redundant or hot-plug power modules should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 460W unit need its fan replaced after continuous operation?

The Zero RPM Fan Mode stops the fan at low and medium loads, reducing mechanical wear and extending the fan's service life.

What is the first limit reached when the DPS-460EB A runs at full load all day?

The 460W maximum output is the hard ceiling; sustained loads above that will trigger over-power protection and shut the unit down.

How much noise and heat does the power supply produce during 24-hour operation?

80 PLUS Gold efficiency keeps waste heat low, and Zero RPM Fan Mode keeps the unit silent at typical loads, with the fan spinning only under heavier demand.
