1200W ATX power supply for DL380 G6 and DL580 G7 servers with 80 PLUS Gold efficiency and zero-RPM fan mode
This new KHACHIMO power supply replaces the original units in DL380 G6 and DL580 G7 servers. It delivers 1200W through a standard ATX form factor and matches part numbers including 142258-002 and 500172-B21. The unit is built for direct installation in compatible enterprise chassis.
80 PLUS Gold certification reduces power draw and heat output during normal server workloads. A Zero RPM fan mode stops the cooling fan completely at low and medium loads for near-silent running. Resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion keeps output clean and minimises coil whine.
Modern Standby compatibility enables extremely fast wake-from-sleep times and better low-load efficiency. This feature is the deciding factor for environments that rely on quick resume from low-power states. Servers without Modern Standby requirement will not benefit from this specific capability.

Slide the supply into the hot-plug bay until the latch clicks, then verify the rear LED shows solid green; the missed step is forgetting to seat the latch fully, which leaves the unit on standby power only.
Clean the intake vents and fan blades periodically; the Zero RPM Fan Mode keeps the fan off at low load, so dust builds up unseen and can reduce airflow when the fan eventually spins up.
The 80 PLUS Gold efficiency target drops as internal temperatures rise, so sustained heavy draw pushes the unit toward its thermal protection threshold before the 1200W rating is reached.
