Questions about this item

Will the internal fan need replacement after extended use in a POS system?

The 1U form factor uses a compact fan; expect to replace it once bearings become noisy, typically after several years of continuous operation.

What limits sustained output before the unit shuts down?

The 250 W rating is the hard ceiling; drawing more than 24 V at the rated current triggers over-current protection and powers off the supply.
