ATX power supply for HP ProLiant ML530

This 450 W ATX unit carries the part numbers 157,793-001 and 144,596-001 and is tested working for direct replacement in HP ProLiant ML530 and ML570 G1 servers. It delivers standard ATX voltages to the motherboard and drive backplanes of those specific Generation 1 rackmount systems.

Limited to the original ML530

The supply uses the proprietary connector layout and signalling required by the G1 chassis and will not fit later Generation 2 or 3 models, nor standard ATX desktop cases. Builders needing redundant or hot-plug capability, or those deploying newer ProLiant platforms, must source the matching generation-specific unit instead.

Questions about this item

Is the DPS-450CB-1 the only version available for my server?

The listing shows the single model DPS-450CB-1 rated at 450 W; no alternative capacities or revisions are offered.

Will the 450 W rating actually run an ML530 G1 or ML570 G1 system?

The unit is tested working and matches the original 157793-001 and 144596-001 part numbers used in those servers, so it delivers the specified 450 W for that platform.
