700 W ATX power supply

This 700 W ATX switching power supply delivers reliable power for desktop systems. It is suited for builders replacing a unit in an existing chassis or assembling a new workstation. The unit has been tested for correct operation before dispatch.

Tested working assurance

Each unit undergoes a functional test so it arrives ready to install without further verification. This reduces the risk of a dead-on-arrival component delaying a build. Buyers who need modular cabling or higher efficiency ratings should consider other models.

Questions about this item

What is the expected lifespan of the cooling fan in this 700W ATX power supply?

The fan is a sealed sleeve-bearing unit rated for continuous operation at the full 700 watt load; under typical desktop duty cycles it generally runs for several years before bearing noise signals a replacement.

Which protection circuit activates first when the 700W output is held at maximum for an extended period?

The over-temperature monitor on the main heatsink trips before the over-current or over-voltage limits, shutting the unit down until internal temperatures fall back to a safe range.
