Compact 1U ATX PSU for dense builds

This 400 W unit fits a 1U chassis and carries 80 PLUS Gold certification for efficient power delivery. It targets NAS appliances and small-form-factor servers that need reliable output in a slim profile. Modern Standby support allows rapid wake-from-sleep behaviour. The resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion keeps voltage regulation tight.

400 W continuous capacity and headroom

The supply delivers its full 400 W rating across the combined rails for typical NAS workloads and embedded boards. Peak demands beyond that level will trip protection, so multi-GPU arrays or heavily overclocked CPUs are outside its design envelope. Builders needing more than 400 W should select a higher-rated unit.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

Zero RPM mode stops the fan completely at low and medium loads, yielding near-silent operation during idle or light file-serving tasks. Gold-level efficiency reduces waste heat, keeping internal temperatures lower in confined 1U enclosures. The resonant LLC design also suppresses coil whine for quieter overall acoustics.

Questions about this item

Will the 400W ENP-7140B power a legacy ATX motherboard that still needs a -5 V rail?

This supply follows the modern ATX standard and omits the -5 V rail; older boards requiring that voltage will not work.

How can I confirm the Zero RPM Fan Mode is active after installation?

At low and medium loads the fan stops completely — silence and zero visible blade rotation confirm the mode is working.

Does the box include modular cables or must I buy them separately?

The unit ships with fixed cables only; no modular cables are included and none are available for this model.
