A 400 W 1U ATX power supply with 80 PLUS Gold efficiency, zero-RPM fan mode and Modern Standby support
This 1U ATX power supply delivers 400W of continuous output for rackmount servers, compact workstations and thin-profile enclosures. It fits standard 1U chassis where height is restricted and a conventional PSU cannot be installed. The unit is new and ready for deployment in space-constrained builds.
80 PLUS Gold certification means high efficiency across the load range, reducing waste heat and keeping internal temperatures lower. A Zero RPM fan mode stops the cooling fan completely at low and medium loads for near-silent operation. Resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion provides clean power and further reduces coil whine.
Replaces older 1U supplies that lack Modern Standby support, Gold efficiency or fan-stop capability. The jump is worthwhile when faster wake-from-sleep, quieter idle noise and lower electricity draw matter for always-on or frequently suspended systems. Builders needing higher wattage or a different form factor should look elsewhere.
Measured against everything we stock in ATX Desktop Power Supplies, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Slide the unit into the 1U bay, secure the four mounting screws, connect the 24-pin ATX and CPU power cables, then verify the Modern Standby pin is seated — that pin is the step most builders forget.
The Zero RPM fan mode keeps the fan off at low load, so dust builds slowly; plan to blow out the heatsink fins once a year and listen for bearing noise — if the fan rattles, replace the fan assembly.
The 80 PLUS Gold efficiency curve drops above 80% load, so sustained draws near 400W raise internal temperatures until the fan ramps to maximum speed — that thermal ceiling is the first hard limit.
