A compact 1U 270 W ATX power supply with 80 PLUS Gold efficiency, Zero RPM fan mode and Modern Standby support for quiet, low-power operation
The KHACHIMO FSP FLEX unit is a 1U form-factor ATX power supply rated at 270W. It targets builders assembling compact desktops, thin clients or small-form-factor workstations where vertical clearance is limited. The design supports Modern Standby for rapid wake-from-sleep and 80 PLUS Gold efficiency to reduce heat and running costs. Buyers needing higher wattage for discrete graphics or multi-drive arrays should look elsewhere.
The ATX standard defines connector layout and signalling, but a 270W ceiling restricts total system power. Continuous draw near the limit leaves little headroom for spin-up surges from mechanical drives or brief GPU boost clocks. Zero RPM fan mode operates only at low and medium loads; sustained heavy loads will spin the fan. The resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion improves voltage regulation and enables deeper sleep states, yet the fixed 270W rating remains the hard boundary for any configuration.
The 1U height fits standard slim chassis brackets and uses regular ATX mounting holes, so no special tools are required. Ensure the case airflow path aligns with the supply exhaust; obstructing the small vent area defeats the quiet Zero RPM mode. Verify that the 24-pin, CPU and peripheral connectors match the motherboard and drive count before closing the case. Coil whine is minimised by the LLC design, but a loose mounting screw can still introduce vibration noise.

The series includes 150 W, 180 W, 220 W and 270 W units; choose the one that meets or exceeds the total rated draw of your CPU, GPU and drives.
It is the maximum continuous DC output the unit can deliver across all rails while maintaining 80 PLUS Gold efficiency and staying within thermal limits.
It follows the ATX form factor, so it fits standard 1U chassis cut-outs and provides the usual 24-pin, CPU and peripheral connectors defined by that specification.
