KHACHIMO GameMax HTPC TFX 80plus Gold 250W Power Supply GT-250G

SKU CH-RQAD-R9ERH

A 250 W TFX power supply with 80 Plus Gold efficiency, zero-RPM fan mode and Modern Standby support for quiet, low-power HTPC builds

  • Product typeATX
  • Modern Standby compatible for extremely fast wake-from-sleep times
  • 80 PLUS Gold certified for high efficiency and lower power consumption
  • Zero RPM fan mode stops the fan at low and medium loads
  • Resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion delivers clean, consistent power
  • 250W TFX form factor suits compact HTPC builds

Compact TFX power supply for small-form-factor

This 250 W TFX unit fits slim HTPC cases and low-profile workstations where a full-size ATX PSU will not mount. It targets builders who need reliable power in a tight chassis without sacrificing efficiency certifications.

Standard TFX mounting

The supply uses the industry TFX footprint so it screws directly into compatible cases, but cable lengths are optimised for compact layouts and may not reach full-size ATX motherboard headers in larger enclosures. Zero RPM fan mode eliminates noise at low and medium loads, yet the fan can spin up under sustained output, which some users notice in silent rooms.

80 PLUS Gold efficiency at 250 W continuous output

The single deciding specification is the 250 W rated capacity with 80 PLUS Gold certification, which guarantees high efficiency across typical loads. Systems with discrete graphics cards, multiple drives or high-TDP processors will exceed this limit and require a higher-wattage unit.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 80 PLUS Gold efficiency is active after installing the GT-250G?

Monitor system power draw at the wall under typical load; a Gold unit will show lower AC watts for the same DC output, and the fan should stay off at low and medium loads thanks to Zero RPM mode.

What comes in the box with the GT-250G and what must I source separately?

The box contains the 250W TFX power supply with its fixed cable set; any specialised GPU power adapters your graphics card requires are not included.

Which capacity of this TFX series should I choose for a compact HTPC build?

The 250W model is the only capacity offered in this GT-250G line, sized for Modern Standby compatible systems that need efficient, quiet power in a small form factor.
