Server-grade replacement unit

The KHACHIMO HSTNS-PF04 is a new 750W power supply built as a direct replacement for the HP DL380 G8 server. It matches part numbers 619671-401, 639173-001 and 636673-B21 and has been tested working before dispatch. Administrators maintaining a DL380 G8 will find a compatible spare without needing to source used hardware. Builders using other chassis or requiring different connectors should look elsewhere.

Thermals noise and power draw

The unit delivers up to 750 watts of continuous output for the server platform it was designed for. Cooling is handled by the server's own airflow design rather than an independent fan profile. Acoustic performance therefore depends on the host system's fan curves and load levels. No separate efficiency rating or standby consumption figure is provided in the specifications.

Questions about this item

How do I install the HSTNS-PF04 750W unit into my HP DL380 G8 server, and what step is often missed?

Slide the supply into the hot-plug bay until the latch clicks; the step often missed is not pushing far enough to fully seat the rear connector.

What maintenance or replacement will the HSTNS-PF04 750W power supply need later?

The internal fan is the only moving part; expect to replace the whole unit when fan noise rises or the server logs a power-supply fault.
