Compact ATX 150W power unit

The KHACHIMO HWS150-12/TG is a 150W ATX switching power supply delivering 12V at 13A. It suits compact builds, industrial equipment or test benches that require a modest, reliable 12V source. The unit is supplied new and has been tested for basic operation. It is not intended for high-wattage gaming rigs or multi-GPU configurations that demand substantially more power.

Thermals and power draw

The 150W rating defines the maximum continuous output, so heat and fan noise scale with the actual load rather than peaking at a higher ceiling. At typical loads the unit runs within its designed thermal envelope without excessive acoustic output. Power draw from the mains follows the efficiency curve of a 150W design, so idle consumption remains low for always-on or embedded applications.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the HWS150-12/TG and which wiring mistake should I avoid?

Secure the unit with its four mounting holes and connect the 12 V output to the load; the common error is reversing the polarity on the screw terminals.

What maintenance does the 150 W supply need and when should I plan a replacement?

Clean dust from the ventilation slots every six months and replace the unit if the 13 A output becomes unstable or the fan noise increases.
