Verify Form Factor and Connector Layout

Confirm that your chassis accepts a standard ATX power supply and that the motherboard uses the Dell-specific pin-outs this unit provides. The Zero RPM fan mode stops the fan at low and medium loads, so ensure case airflow remains adequate when the fan is idle.

Replaces D240ES-00, AC240ES-00, H240ES-00.

The upgrade is worthwhile when the original supply has failed, when coil whine has become intrusive, or when you need Gold-level efficiency and Modern Standby support that the older units lack.
