Compatible Dell OptiPlex Replacement

This 235W ATX power supply replaces the original unit in Dell OptiPlex 760, 960, 580S and 780 desktops. It matches the L235P-00, AC235AS-00 and D235ES-00 part numbers for direct installation. The unit is new and built to the same form factor as the factory supply.

Office PCs needing quiet efficiency

The 80 PLUS Gold rating and Zero RPM fan mode suit office workstations that stay idle for long periods and must run silently. Modern Standby support gives fast wake times for productivity users. Builders assembling high-power gaming rigs or multi-GPU workstations should look at higher-wattage units instead.

Steady output with low noise

Resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion delivers clean, consistent power across the full 235W range. The fan remains off at low and medium loads, reducing acoustic output during typical office tasks. Efficiency stays high under sustained load, keeping temperatures lower than less certified designs.

Questions about this item

Which Dell OptiPlex models does this 235W ATX power supply replace?

It is a direct replacement for the OptiPlex 760, 960, 580S and 780 using part numbers L235P-00, L235P-01, H235E-00, F235E-00, AC235AS-00 or D235ES-00.

Will the Zero RPM Fan Mode stay silent if I keep my existing low-power CPU and integrated graphics?

Yes, the fan switches off entirely at low and medium loads, so typical office workloads on older hardware run with near-silent operation.

How can I confirm the 80 PLUS Gold efficiency is active after installing the unit?

The PSU delivers high efficiency operation shown by lower power consumption, less noise and cooler temperatures under normal load.
