This 12 V power supply delivers 121 A and 1470 W for rack-mounted servers that require hot-swap redundancy. It fits standard ATX bays and is tested working before shipment.

Thermals noise and power draw

Redundant architecture shares load between modules to keep internal temperatures lower during sustained operation. Fan speed ramps with demand so acoustic output stays proportional to actual power draw.

Questions about this item

How do I install the PE6850 1470W 12V 121A server redundant power supply into an ATX chassis?

Slide the unit into the redundant PSU bay until the latch clicks, then connect the 12 V output cables to the motherboard and backplane; the step often missed is securing the retention screw so vibration cannot unseat the module.

What maintenance will the PE6850 1470W 12V 121A server redundant power supply need over its service life?

Clean the intake mesh every few months to prevent dust buildup on the internal fan; if a module fails, the redundant design lets you hot-swap the faulty unit without powering down the server.
