The 320 W rating defines the maximum continuous output available to the server components. Normal operating temperature and acoustic levels follow the original Dell specification for this chassis. Power draw scales with the connected load up to the rated limit.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 320W PS-2321-1 unit into a PowerEdge 1750 chassis, and which alignment step is often missed?

Slide the supply into the bay until the M1662 latch clicks; the step people miss is fully seating the rear connector before tightening the thumb screw.

What maintenance or replacement will the M1662 power supply need over time?

Clean the intake vents every few months; if fan noise rises or voltages drift, replace the entire 320W unit rather than servicing internals.
