950 W ATX power supply for Cisco ASR1001-X

This 950 watt ATX unit carries part number 341-100377-01 and is built for the ASR1001-X series switch. It suits network engineers who need a direct replacement module for that platform. Buyers looking for a standard desktop ATX supply for a PC build cannot use this unit.

Tested working unit with quiet normal operation

The module is tested working and draws up to 950 W under load. In normal use it runs at acceptable noise levels for a data-centre chassis. Power draw scales with the switch configuration. No further thermal or acoustic figures are provided.

Questions about this item

How is the 341-100377-01 power supply installed in an ASR1001-X chassis and what step is often missed?

Slide the unit into the power-supply bay until the latch clicks, then tighten the captive thumbscrews; the step often missed is securing both screws so the unit stays seated under vibration.

What maintenance or replacement will the 950W ASR1KX-DC-950W-R need later?

The internal fan is the only moving part; plan to clean its intake vents annually and replace the fan assembly if bearing noise appears after several years of continuous operation.
