ProLiant DL380 G7 750W Server Power Supply

This 750W unit is a direct replacement for the ProLiant DL380 G7 server. It uses the standard ATX form factor and is supplied new. The part is tested and confirmed working before it reaches the shelf. It suits administrators restoring or maintaining this specific platform.

Replaces a failed or missing DPS-750RB A module

Swapping in this supply restores full rated power to a G7 chassis that has lost redundancy or suffered a unit failure. The upgrade is worth it when the existing supply has failed, when a second bay is empty, or when a cold spare is required for rapid recovery. It is not for builders fitting standard desktop cases or non-HPE server platforms.

Questions about this item

Will the DPS-750RB A fit in a ProLiant DL380 G7 server bay?

Yes, this 750W supply is built for the DL380 G7 chassis and slides directly into the standard redundant power-supply slot.

What is the common installation mistake with the DPS-750RB A?

Not pushing the unit until the latch clicks; a loose fit breaks the power-plane connection and the server will not POST.
