500W ATX Power Supply

The KHACHIMO PSU is a 500 watt ATX unit built for FSP 1+1 platforms. It suits system builders who need a modern standby compatible supply with 80 PLUS Gold efficiency for everyday desktop workloads.

Modern Standby and Zero RPM

Modern Standby support allows extremely fast wake-from-sleep times and better low-load efficiency. Zero RPM fan mode stops the cooling fan entirely at low and medium loads for near-silent operation.

LLC Topology Limits

Resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion delivers clean power and reduces coil whine. The 500 watt rating caps total system draw so high-end multi-GPU configurations will exceed its capacity.

Questions about this item

How often will the fan in this 500W ATX unit need cleaning or replacement?

The Zero RPM fan mode stops the fan at low and medium loads, reducing dust buildup and mechanical wear, so cleaning intervals are longer than on always-spinning designs.

Which limit appears first when this supply runs at full output for extended periods?

The 500W rated capacity is the hard ceiling; sustained loads at or above that level will trigger over-power protection before thermal limits become the primary constraint.

How much noise and heat does the FSP500-80MRA(S) produce when powering a workstation all day?

80 PLUS Gold efficiency keeps waste heat low, and the fan stays off under typical workloads thanks to Zero RPM mode, delivering near-silent operation and cooler case temperatures.
