KHACHIMO 720W Server Redundant Power Supply

The KHACHIMO PWS-721P-1R is a 720W server redundant power supply built to the ATX form factor. It is intended for rackmount or tower servers that require continuous uptime through hot-swap power redundancy. The unit has been test-working verified to confirm reliable operation before deployment.

Suited for redundant server builds.

This supply suits administrators building or maintaining servers where a second hot-swap unit provides fail-over protection. It does not suit builders assembling a workstation or desktop that uses only a single power supply, because the redundant form factor and hot-swap connector add cost and complexity without benefit in a non-redundant chassis.

Questions about this item

What server chassis and hot-swap backplane are required to install the PWS-721P-1R?

The PWS-721P-1R fits a redundant power-supply bay that accepts the 721 form factor and connects to the chassis backplane for AC input and PMBus signalling.

Will the 720W output share load evenly with an older supply of a different wattage in the same chassis?

Load sharing requires both units to be the same 721 model; mixing wattages disables active current sharing and risks overload on the higher-rated supply.
