Questions about this item

What fan or capacitor replacement will the R100-12 need over time?

The unit is a tested working disassembly; plan to replace the internal cooling fan and electrolytic capacitors after several years of continuous 12 V 8.5 A operation.

Which limit appears first during sustained 12 V 8.5 A load — thermal shutdown or input voltage drop?

With an 85-132 V input range the supply will hit its low-line limit first; if the mains sags below 85 V the unit shuts down before thermal protection triggers.
