KHACHIMO R320 R420 550W ATX Power Supply

This 550W ATX power supply fits Dell R320 and R420 systems. It delivers 80 PLUS Gold efficiency for lower energy draw and cooler running. Modern Standby support provides fast wake-from-sleep times and better low-load performance. The unit is new and ready for server or workstation use.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Ideal for administrators replacing a failed unit in a compatible Dell PowerEdge server. Builders who need a different form factor, higher wattage, or non-ATX connectors should choose another model. Systems requiring redundant hot-swap modules or proprietary pinouts are not supported by this design.

The specification that decides fit

The 550W ATX form factor with Modern Standby compatibility determines whether this unit matches your server. Verify the exact Dell part numbers 00G8CN or 0G8CN against your hardware manual before purchase. Efficiency certification and fan behaviour follow from this core specification.

Questions about this item

Does my motherboard need an ATX power connector for this 550W unit?

Yes, this is an ATX power supply so it requires a standard ATX motherboard connector and matching case mounting points.

Will the Zero RPM fan mode stay silent when paired with an older GPU that idles at higher wattage?

The fan stops at low and medium loads; an older GPU drawing more power at idle may keep the load above the Zero RPM threshold, so the fan could spin.

How can I confirm the 80 PLUS Gold efficiency is active after installation?

You will see lower power draw at the wall, reduced heat output, and the fan remaining off longer during light workloads compared to a non-Gold unit.
