SFX 250W PSU for compact builds

The KHACHIMO SFX 250W Power Supply YQ-400S fits small-form-factor cases that require an SFX form factor. It targets builders assembling space-constrained systems with modest power needs. Buyers planning high-wattage multi-GPU rigs or full-size ATX towers should look elsewhere.

250W capacity with Gold efficiency

The unit delivers a continuous 250W output and carries 80 PLUS Gold certification for high efficiency across typical loads. Resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion provides clean, consistent power and supports modern low-power sleep states. Systems demanding more than 250W will exceed this unit’s headroom.

Zero-RPM fan and low noise

A Zero RPM fan mode stops the fan entirely at low and medium loads for near-silent operation. Modern Standby compatibility enables extremely fast wake-from-sleep times while maintaining efficiency. The combination reduces coil whine and keeps temperatures lower during everyday use.

Questions about this item

Will the 250W SFX unit power my older ATX motherboard and drives without adapters?

The power supply uses the standard ATX form factor, so it connects directly to legacy ATX motherboards and peripherals using its native cables.

How can I confirm the Zero RPM Fan Mode is active after installation?

Under light or medium loads the cooling fan stops completely; you can verify silent operation by listening for fan noise during idle or basic desktop tasks.

Which cables come in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The unit ships with its fixed ATX power cables; any additional adapters or extension cables for specific older connectors would need to be sourced separately.
