Monitoring Module for ATX Power Supplies

The KHACHIMO SMU02E is a communication module designed to add monitoring capability to compatible ATX power supplies. It suits system integrators and technicians who require visibility into power-supply status without replacing the entire unit.

Behaviour Under Sustained Load

The module draws minimal power from the host supply and relays telemetry continuously during extended operation. It does not regulate output or provide redundancy, so builders needing active load-sharing or fail-over must look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What noise or heat should I expect from the SMU02E monitoring module when it runs continuously in an ATX power supply?

The SMU02E is a monitoring module designed for communication power applications and draws its operating power from the host ATX supply, so its own heat output and acoustic profile are minimal and governed by the main PSU fan.

What existing ATX power-supply connections or chassis features does the SMU02E monitoring module require to operate?

The module installs inside a standard ATX power supply and uses the supply’s existing internal connectors for monitoring and communication functions; no extra cables or external adapters are needed beyond a compatible ATX PSU.
