Compatible replacement for DDN SFA7700

This 1865W ATX power supply is built as a direct replacement for the DDN SFA7700 storage array. It suits system administrators and data-centre technicians who need a field-replaceable unit to restore redundant power in that specific platform. Each unit is tested working before it ships.

Thermals noise and power draw

The supply delivers its rated 1865W output within the thermal and acoustic envelope defined by the original DDN SFA7700 chassis design. Fan speed and airflow are managed by the array's own monitoring system so noise and temperature remain consistent with the host platform's specifications. Power draw scales with the connected storage workload up to the 1865W maximum.

Questions about this item

How do I install the TDPS-1865AB into a DDN SFA7700 and what step is often missed?

Slide the 1865W unit into the SFA7700 bay until the latch clicks, then tighten the captive thumbscrew; the step often missed is not fully seating the latch before screwing it down.

What maintenance or replacement will the TDPS-1865AB need during its service life?

Clean the intake vents every few months to prevent dust build-up; the internal fan is the only moving part and should be replaced if bearing noise appears.
