TFX 250W power supply for slim PCs

This TFX-form-factor unit delivers 250 W of continuous power for compact desktops and small-form-factor builds. It carries 80 PLUS Gold certification and uses resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion for clean output. Modern Standby compatibility enables extremely fast wake-from-sleep times and better low-load efficiency.

Suits builders upgrading OEM TFX systems

Ideal for owners of slimline office PCs or home-theatre boxes that require a TFX power supply with Gold efficiency and quiet operation. The Zero RPM fan mode keeps the unit silent at low and medium loads. Not for builds that need higher wattage or standard ATX dimensions.

250 W continuous output decides fit

The single figure that determines compatibility is the 250 W rated capacity. Check your system’s power budget against this number before buying. If your components demand more headroom, this supply will not be sufficient.

Questions about this item

Should I pick this 250 W unit or look for a higher-wattage TFX supply?

Choose the 250 W model when your build uses a low-power CPU and integrated graphics; a higher-wattage TFX unit is only needed if you plan a discrete GPU or many drives.

What does the 80 PLUS Gold rating actually deliver in daily use?

The Gold certification means the PSU runs at high efficiency across typical loads, so it draws less wall power, generates less heat and lets the fan stay off longer.

How does the ATX form factor limit where this TFX supply can be installed?

Although labelled ATX, the TFX shape fits only slim cases designed for TFX units; it will not mount in a standard ATX chassis.
