KHACHIMO 1U 500W PSU for compact builds

The KHACHIMO UT-715A1 is a 1U form factor ATX power supply rated at 500W. It targets builders of small form factor PCs, HTPCs and rack-mount servers where vertical space is limited to a single rack unit. The unit is brand new and carries 80 PLUS Gold certification for high efficiency.

Suits tight spaces needing quiet sleep

This unit fits builders who need Modern Standby compatibility for fast wake times and a Zero RPM fan mode for silent idle operation. It is not for systems requiring redundant power modules, higher wattage than 500W, or standard ATX height clearance above 1U. Buyers needing modular cables should verify the included set.

1U height decides rack and case fit

The defining specification is the 1U chassis height combined with a 500W continuous rating. This single constraint determines whether the PSU will physically install in a target enclosure such as a K39, M34 or T34 style chassis. All other features depend on this form factor being acceptable.

Questions about this item

Does the 80 PLUS Gold certified unit have any user-serviceable parts that will need replacement?

The power supply contains no user-serviceable components; the fan and capacitors are sealed inside and not intended for owner replacement.

At sustained load does the 500 W ATX supply hit its thermal limit or its current limit first?

The 80 PLUS Gold rating and resonant LLC topology keep temperatures low, so the 500 W continuous current limit is reached before any thermal throttle point.

How much noise and heat does the Zero RPM fan mode produce during all-day operation?

Below medium load the fan stays completely off, giving near-silent running and minimal heat; above that threshold the fan spins only as fast as needed for cooling.
