1000 W ATX power supply for desktop PCs

The KHACHIMO WepeX 1280A is a 1000 W ATX power supply designed for desktop computer builds. It targets users who want high efficiency and quiet operation in a standard form factor. The unit carries 80 PLUS Gold certification and supports Modern Standby for rapid wake-from-sleep performance.

Thermals, noise and power draw in normal use

80 PLUS Gold certification delivers high efficiency that reduces power consumption, lowers temperatures and cuts noise. A Zero RPM fan mode stops the cooling fan completely at low and medium loads for near-silent operation. Resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion provides clean, consistent power while further reducing coil whine and enabling efficient sleep states.

What the bundled features actually change

Modern Standby compatibility enables extremely fast wake-from-sleep times and improves low-load efficiency. The Zero RPM fan mode removes audible fan noise during everyday workloads. Resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion minimises coil whine and supports deeper, more energy-efficient sleep states for the system.

Questions about this item

How do I install this 1000w ATX power supply and which cable is most often missed?

Fit the unit into the case with the four ATX mounting screws, connect the 24-pin motherboard cable and the 8-pin CPU power cable; the CPU cable near the socket is the one builders most frequently forget.

What maintenance will this oil-cooled 1280A unit need over time?

The oil cooling circuit is sealed for life, so no fluid checks are required; only the fan may need occasional dust cleaning, and Zero RPM mode means it runs less often at low loads.

What limit appears first when this Gold-rated supply runs at high load continuously?

The 80 PLUS Gold efficiency target is the first boundary; sustained heavy draw pushes losses higher, so thermal protection will engage before the 1000w rating is exceeded.
