670 W ATX power supply

This 670 W ATX power supply delivers 80 PLUS Gold certified efficiency for desktop builds. It uses resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion to provide clean, consistent power. The unit supports Modern Standby for extremely fast wake-from-sleep times and better low-load efficiency.

Replaces lower-efficiency or noisy units

Upgrading from a standard bronze or unrated supply cuts power draw and reduces coil whine through the LLC design. The jump is worth it when you want near-silent operation at low and medium loads via the zero RPM fan mode. It also enables more energy-efficient sleep states for modern systems.

Fits standard ATX cases with modern sleep needs

The ATX form factor fits typical desktop chassis without requiring special mounting. Modern Standby compatibility frees the system to enter deeper sleep states while maintaining quick resume. Zero RPM mode removes fan noise during light workloads, leaving headroom for louder components under load.

Questions about this item

What case clearance does the 670 W ATX unit need?

It uses a standard ATX form factor, so any chassis with an ATX PSU bay will accept it without extra brackets.

Which cables must be connected for Modern Standby wake to function?

Fit the 24-pin ATX and 8-pin EPS connectors; the motherboard firmware must also support Modern Standby for the fast wake feature to activate.

When does the 80 PLUS Gold unit require cleaning?

The Zero RPM fan stops at low and medium loads, so dust builds more slowly; clean the intake when you hear the fan spin up noticeably.
