KHACHIMO XPS8930 460W ATX Power Supply

This 460W ATX power supply is built for desktop systems that require a standard form factor and 80 PLUS Gold efficiency. It suits owners of compatible workstations or towers looking to replace an original unit with a modern standby compatible design.

80 PLUS Gold and Zero RPM Fan Mode

Gold certification means higher efficiency at typical loads, which reduces waste heat and keeps internal temperatures lower. The Zero RPM mode stops the fan completely at low and medium loads, cutting noise while the resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion delivers stable voltage and minimises coil whine.

Questions about this item

What maintenance will the fan in this XPS8930 460W unit need over time?

The Zero RPM Fan Mode keeps the fan off at low and medium loads, reducing wear; dust can be cleared with compressed air when the fan is running.

Which limit appears first when this 460W supply runs at full load continuously?

The 460W continuous rating is the hard ceiling; the 80 PLUS Gold efficiency keeps heat lower, so thermal protection rarely triggers before the power limit.

How much noise and heat should I expect from this PSU during all-day operation?

At typical loads the fan stays off for silent running; under heavier loads the fan spins quietly while Gold-rated efficiency minimises waste heat.
