A 1050W ATX power supply with 80 PLUS Gold efficiency, zero RPM fan mode and Modern Standby compatibility
This 1050W ATX unit is built for the XW9400 and XW8600 workstation platforms. It delivers high-output power for multi-socket processors, professional graphics cards and large memory configurations. The supply suits builders and IT departments replacing a failed original unit or upgrading capacity in these specific chassis.
Certified 80 PLUS Gold efficiency reduces waste heat and lowers power draw during typical workloads. A Zero RPM fan mode stops the cooling fan completely at low and medium loads for near-silent operation. Resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion provides clean power delivery and helps minimise coil whine.
Modern Standby compatibility enables extremely fast wake-from-sleep transitions and improved low-load efficiency compared to legacy sleep states. The upgrade is worthwhile when the existing supply lacks Modern Standby support or shows instability under heavy professional workloads. It replaces the DPS-1050CB A units identified by part numbers 440860-001 and 442038-001.

Mount the unit in a standard ATX case using four screws, connect the 24-pin ATX, CPU and GPU cables, then verify the motherboard BIOS has Modern Standby enabled so the fast wake-from-sleep feature actually works.
The Zero RPM fan stays off at low and medium loads; once the unit runs hot enough to spin the fan, dust the intake grille periodically and listen for bearing noise — that is the only moving part that can wear out.
Continuous draw at the full 1050 W rating will raise internal temperatures until the over-temperature protection triggers, so sustained loads should stay below the peak rating to avoid shutdowns.
