Modern Standby ATX Supply

The KHACHIMO YM-2721D is a 720W ATX power supply built for desktop PCs that use Modern Standby sleep states. It targets system builders who want high efficiency and quiet operation in a standard form factor.

Efficiency and Noise Features

80 PLUS Gold certification means lower power draw, less heat and reduced fan noise under typical loads. The Zero RPM mode stops the fan completely at low and medium loads, while the resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion delivers clean power and minimises coil whine.

Compatibility Checks

Verify that your case accepts a standard ATX power supply and that the total system power draw stays within the 720W rating. Confirm your motherboard supports Modern Standby to use the fast wake capability, and check that the supplied cables match your GPU and storage connectors.

Questions about this item

Will the fan on this 720W unit need cleaning or replacement after long-term use?

The Zero RPM Fan Mode keeps the fan off at low and medium loads, reducing wear and dust buildup, so maintenance intervals are longer than on always-spinning designs.

What limit appears first when this 80 PLUS Gold supply runs at full load continuously?

At sustained 720W output the thermal protection threshold is reached before any electrical limit, causing the unit to shut down safely until temperatures drop.

How much noise and heat does this YM-2721D produce when powering a workstation all day?

Under typical workloads the fan stays idle thanks to Zero RPM mode, and 80 PLUS Gold efficiency keeps waste heat low, so the system remains near-silent and cool.
