700W ATX power supply for Modern Standby systems

The KHACHIMO YM-8701A delivers a continuous 700W output with a 900W peak rating in a standard ATX form factor. It carries 80 PLUS Gold certification for high efficiency across typical loads. Modern Standby compatibility enables extremely fast wake-from-sleep times and improved low-load efficiency. Resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion provides clean, consistent power delivery.

Zero RPM fan mode and LLC topology reduce noise

A Zero RPM fan mode stops the cooling fan entirely at low and medium loads for near-silent operation. The resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion further reduces coil whine for quieter performance. These features combine to minimise acoustic output during everyday desktop use. High efficiency operation also contributes to lower heat generation and reduced fan speed requirements.

Suits efficiency-focused builds needing quiet

This unit suits builders who prioritise 80 PLUS Gold efficiency, silent low-load operation and Modern Standby fast-wake support. Buyers who require a higher continuous wattage rating than 700W should look at alternative models. Systems needing specialised server-grade redundancy features are not addressed by this design. The ATX form factor fits standard desktop chassis without proprietary mounting requirements.

Questions about this item

Will the fan need replacing after years of continuous use?

The Zero RPM Fan Mode keeps the fan off at low and medium loads, reducing wear and extending the service life of the cooling assembly.

At what load does the 80 PLUS Gold efficiency rating become the limiting factor?

The 80 PLUS Gold certification guarantees high efficiency up to the rated 700 W output; beyond that the peak 900 W capacity takes over with lower efficiency.

How much noise and heat should I expect when the unit runs at full load all day?

At sustained high load the fan spins actively to manage heat, while the resonant LLC topology and DC-to-DC conversion minimise coil whine for quieter operation.
