Compact 13th-Gen Intel mini PC

The Khadas Mind 1 is a new barebone mini PC built around an Intel Core i7-1360P processor with twelve cores and sixteen threads. It ships with 32GB of soldered LPDDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, so it arrives ready for business, home-office or mobile workstation workloads. The 5.55Wh internal battery provides up to 25 hours of standby time to protect against sudden power loss. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

Build integration and expansion

The unit measures 146x105x20mm and weighs 435g, drawing power from an included 65W USB-C adapter. A single vacant M.2 2230 slot accepting PCIe 3.0 SSDs allows storage expansion up to 2TB. Video output is available through one HDMI 2.0 port and two USB-C connectors that each support DisplayPort at 32Gbps. The proprietary Mind Link interface delivers PCIe 5.0 x8 bandwidth for hot-swappable Khadas ecosystem modules.

Included accessories and software

The package supplies the mini PC, the 65W USB-C power adapter and a USB-C cable. Windows 11 Home is already installed, removing the need for a separate operating-system licence. WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 are integrated for wireless connectivity. No additional software bundles or licences are mentioned in the specifications.

Questions about this item

What is the first limit reached when the Core i7-1360P runs at 5.0 GHz under sustained load?

The 65 W USB-C power adapter caps total system draw, so the CPU cannot hold its peak turbo indefinitely once the thermal budget of the 146×105×20 mm chassis is met.

How much heat and noise does the unit produce when it runs all day?

The 5.55 Wh standby battery and 65 W adapter indicate a low-power design; with no active cooling specs published, the aluminium body acts as a passive heatsink for silent operation.

Which display cable must I already own to get video out of the HDMI 2.0 port?

A standard HDMI 2.0 cable rated for 18 Gbps is required; the box only includes the Mind module, 65 W USB-C adapter and a USB-C cable.
