The system ships with 16GB of soldered LPDDR5 5200 memory and a 512GB M.2 2230 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD. A built-in 5.55Wh battery provides up to 25 hours of standby time. Check power, expansion limits and display needs

The unit draws power from an included 65W USB-C adapter; verify your outlets or power banks can deliver this profile. Memory is fixed at 16GB with no upgrade path, so confirm this capacity suits your workload. Only one spare M.2 2230 slot (PCIe 3.0) remains for storage expansion up to 2TB. Video outputs consist of one HDMI 2.0 port and two USB-C ports with DP alt mode; ensure your monitors match these interfaces.

Mind Link adds high-speed peripheral bus

The proprietary Mind Link connector exposes a PCIe 5.0 x8 link (32GT/s per lane) that supports hot-swap docking with Khadas ecosystem modules. This interface can add extra I/O, discrete graphics or additional storage beyond the internal slot. A magnetic cover plate hides the expansion bay for tool-free SSD swaps. The 65W USB-C adapter handles both host charging and Power Delivery to attached devices.

Questions about this item

Does the unit ship with the 65 W USB-C power adapter, or do I need to buy it separately?

The 65 W USB-C power adapter is included in the box, so no separate purchase is required.

The spec lists 16 GB LPDDR5 5200 MHz — can I upgrade to 32 GB later?

Memory is soldered LPDDR5 and maxes out at 16 GB, so a larger capacity cannot be added.

What real-world display resolutions can the HDMI 2.0 and USB-C ports drive?

HDMI 2.0 supports 4K at 60 Hz; each full-featured USB-C can drive 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 240 Hz.
