What you get

This pack contains nine biodegradable kitchen sponges made from 100% plant-based cellulose and coconut husk fibres. Each sponge has a dual-layer design with an absorbent cellulose side and a natural scrubber side for tougher residue. The S-shaped profile is intended to fit the hand comfortably during extended washing-up sessions.

Before you buy

Check that your household surfaces are compatible with a coconut-fibre abrasive layer; the maker advises testing the scrub side on an inconspicuous area first. The sponges are compostable, so confirm you have access to a compost bin or organic-waste collection if you want to dispose of them as intended. They weigh .15 kg per pack, a figure that may matter if you are calculating shipping limits.

In use

The cellulose layer soaks up liquid quickly for general dishwashing, while the coconut husk side tackles baked-on food without synthetic plastics. Because the material dries fast, it resists the odours that often develop in conventional foam sponges. After service life ends, the whole sponge can go into compost, freeing you from sending plastic scrubbers to landfill.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy anything else?

The pack contains nine S-shaped sponges made from cellulose and coconut husk. No extra items are required to start cleaning.

How do I choose between the available versions or capacities?

Only the nine-pack configuration is offered, so there is no alternative capacity to select.

What does the 100% plant-based claim mean when I use the sponge daily?

Both layers are compostable cellulose and coconut fibre, so the sponge breaks down naturally after use instead of adding plastic waste.
